Brutalien

Welcome to Brutalien. This game is about an alien tryting so survive in an arena fighting against a brood of other aliens.

This also were the name found its origin. It is a mix of Brood, Brutal and Alien. 

Controls

Aim with [MOUSE]
Fire with [LMB] or [SPACE]
Move with [WASD] or [ARROW KEYS]

Pause with [ESC], [PAUSE] or [P]

Enemies

You fight against one other alien so called Flying Blob. Those have the ability to split instead of getting killed. But not forever! So split them a couple of times in order to kill them.

But you should be fast. Splitted blobs can eat each other to grow back to their full size! This also works across different variants of it. So yellow blobs can also eat green blobs and vice versa. 

But those blobs don't just appear. They are spawned from eggs (outside of the arena) and will fly to you. Eggs are immortal and while blobs are flying they've a shield. 

There are 3 types of Flying Blobs in the game! Can you beat them all?

Arena

The game is all about the arena. Here you stand, walk, fight and die. Life is just temporary and in the end your alien will find the one or another end. 

Enemies will spawn in waves and between waves you have a short amount of time too get some sort yourself. Of course every wave will be harder than the previous one!

Quests and Upgrades

Some fight in an arena for glory - but I think most of us also wants to get some kind of reward. And so you can get usefull upgrades which will help you survive longer.

I guess you'd like to know which kind of upgrades there are? Well - I could tell you but I want you to play the game. So start the game and find it out by yourself :)

You can see your current progress by pausing the game. Then your current active quest will be displayed in the middle of the screen. If you finish a quest then you will get an upgrade as reward at the of that round (means: you have to die to get it). 

There isn't an unlimited amount of quests. You can check the main menu to see active, solved and remaining ones. 

Also worth to mention: you can disable upgrades ones unlocked. Just go to the main menu and open the settings. There you can define which upgrades you'd like to have activated.

Highscore

All upgrades unlocked? Don't know what to do now? Well, the game has an highscore system. You can try to challange yourself by beating your best scores.
